FLOWER ESSENCES & HOLISTIC HEALING FOR PETS

CAN I USE FLOWER ESSENCES WITH MY PETS?

Absolutely! Animals are extremely perceptive to the subtle, yet powerful effects, of flower essences.

One of the ways we know that the effects of flower elixirs are not a placebo effect is that animals show marked differences in their behavior while under their influence. Flower elixirs can be used for any emotional discomfort in pets — past trauma, separation anxiety, sibling jealousy, hyperactivity, sadness, or listlessness — offering effective support for shifting their emotional states.

My dogs used to get sad every time I left on a trip. I travel quite a bit, and it was making me sad to see them get so mopey every time I started to pack my bags. For several years, each time I left, my roommates would give them flower elixirs like Joy Juice to cheer them up while I was away. Now each time I take out my suitcases, they quietly watch me, but don't get mopey after I leave anymore!

One of my clients, Aubrey, had a cat that was really jealous of her new husband. The cat was so “pissed off” about taking second seat to the husband that he repeatedly peed on the bed and the couch to mark his territory. Aubrey gave him Infinite Love, which is for dissolving anger and encouraging forgiveness. After a week he stopped peeing and never did it again. Many years have passed with no mishaps.

Now, are you ready for the cutest thing ever?

We have pet elixirs!

SHOP PET ELIXIRS

Even though we featured our favorite office mascots on the labels, these elixirs are good for cats, dogs, hamsters, birds or any other pets you might have!

How to Use: Add five drops to their food every meal and add 7 drops to their drinking water (just make sure you change it regularly because of the honey). You can even put 5 drops on your hand and then let your pets lick it out of your hand. Drop it on treats too!

    4. JOY: A STORY OF LOVE + DEATH with Katie Hess

    ITUNES GOOGLE PLAY SPOTIFY

In this episode I talk straight from the heart, recorded two weeks after the death of my sweet dog Joy who lived to almost 17. A super intimate episode, I talk about the experiences I had leading up to her death, her last breaths and afterward, at a time when it was super fresh. I talk about rituals, cremation, the bizarre qualities of grief, the beauty of death and how a direct experience of death enriches our lives + awakens our wisdom. May it demystify the death process + help us dive deeply into the beauty of something we all must at one time face. In the process, may it illuminate a richer way to live. May it be of benefit.

For the full back story of the years leading up to Joy's death, I wrote about about it a lot on the blog:

In this post, you can read how she bounced back from internal bleeding, a tooth infection and a mini stroke with Chinese Medicine and a special herb that grew in our backyard: Shepherd’s Purse.

In this post, I write about the miracles of care taking, impermanence and how there is nothing more profound, important, valiant, compassionate and challenging than caring for another being in this capacity.

In this post, I share how Joy, one of my greatest teachers rewired her brain after a series of strokes.

I wrote this post a little over two weeks after my sweetheart Joy's death. In hopes that it will benefit you in some way, I share some insights from my last days with Joy and the death process.
